Our Consultants are customer facing, and use their strong domain knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills to gain an understanding of business value in order to drive the successful deployment of our software solutions across Europe.
As a Consultant, you will get involved in early discussions with our customers to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, and to explain how the IDBS solution can best fit their needs. From needs definition, they then support the execution and successful deployment of our solutions at the customer site, which may involve deployment activities such as installation, database administration, upgrades, project control, system configuration, integration, training and post-delivery support.

Job Requirements

To best support our customers, you will come from a related field, such as a Life Sciences background, and knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
•Prior experience working with IDBS products
•Technical experience in working with Electronic Lab Notebooks, electronic record storage and/or enterprise document and data management
•Oracle database administration and Development coding skills

Taking a logical and measured view of the problem in hand, you will demonstrate an ability to learn new concepts to add to your technical background in Life Sciences and/or IT.
Whilst working with clients you will extend your relationship building skills to developing an internal network within IDBS working closely with colleagues in Germany, France and US offices. Excellent verbal and written communication will support you in both aspects.
