The Salesforce System Analyst will join the Global Sales & Service Operations Team as an individual contributor to support the CRM applications for the Sales, Marketing, and Service business functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Salesforce CPQ (previously Steelbrick CPQ) quote to cash process with advance experience in complex CRM projects and configurations, scripting languages. This role will be working with the Global Sales and Service team, Business users and IT team members to design, configure, develop and deliver solutions that enable CRM automated processes and support the execution of Customer Relationship Management strategies. 

The candidate will have solid background of programming languages, design and manage CRM systems, and great communications skills. Along with technical knowledge and experience, the candidate is expected to have a decent level of understanding in business operations. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, control, and coordinate the development of Salesforce integration, upgrade, and enhancement projects from the initial definition phase, taking the concepts and following through to a successful deployment
  • Support and enhance Salesforce &CPQ integration to Oracle, Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Work with internal and external  Technical Specialists and Technical Leads to clearly determine the roles and requirements of each person involved in the project/solution, while reviewing technical work for accuracy.
  • Problem solve and be able to identify root causes of ad hoc problems and provide solutions on a timely fashion.
  • Liaison with Master Data Manager to support and maintain master data.
  • Establish and define the theoretical basis and principles for estimating project effort and duration, while analyzing needs and recommending appropriate technical solutions
  • Take initiatives to provide business insight from the data and make recommendations for improvement. 
  • Facilitate Requirement Definition Workshops and Capture Business Processes and Requirements. 
  • Lead story building sessions.
  • Articulate and concisely explain the implications of complex data.
  • Designing SFDC configurations and creating configuration specifications
  • Providing configuration expertise for validation and testing
  • Organize and provide trainings for team and business teams as need on topics such as CPQ system optimization.
  • Identifies and evaluates best practices related to the use of tools both internally and externally and makes recommendations to management for incorporation into existing tool functionality.
  • Map Business Processes and Requirements
  • Assist with Gap analysis, identification and sizing
  • Assist with functional and technical designs
  • Evaluate and prioritize Defect Reports and Change Requests
  • Facilitate the creation of Test Plans and Scripts and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Create and/or update Requirement, Process, Functional, and technical documentation
  • Identify major milestones and establish critical path within the project plan while monitoring and reporting progress toward milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
  • Serve as customer liaison on project facilitating daily and weekly project review meetings with clients and team members
  • Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery in line with client expectations, ensuring that tight schedules are met
  • Foster and maintain good relationships with IT colleagues, both internal and external.
  • Stays abreast of the trends in technology in support of CRM systems.
  • Travel globally (30%) (10% ) to attend workshops, conferences and support regional teams where necessary


Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information science, statistics or similar. 
  • 4+ years of experience with complex development of Salesforce, Eloqua, Oracle or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience with business reporting and analytics tools such as OBIEE, Microsoft Power BI or equivalent.  
  • Salesforce Certified Admin or App Builder certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in programming language: Java, Java Script, SFDC, VB, Python, C++ etc.
  • Salesforce Developer Certification 
  • Proficient computer user including Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in business related functions
