Description

Main Porpuse


In line with the company’s policies and values, ensures the achievement of company’s targets in terms of revenue, margin and product mix in the assigned territory.



Main Resposabilities




  • Achieve revenue and margin targets in the assigned territory for both Consumables and hardware selling.

  • Develop strategic account planning activities to open new accounts in the territory assigned while maintaining the existing customer base.

  • Coordinate activities in the key accounts either competitive or existing customers in his/her territory, interacting with the colleagues of other departments (Service, Applications and Sales Support) and ensure they implement the planned activities.

  • Responsible to coordinate demonstrations and roadshows activities on Beckman Coulter technology in the assigned territory mainly in Research Labs.

  • Produce and deliver commercial proposals to customers including product presentations.

  • Report on a constant basis field activities with customers.

  • Orchestrate the whole sales process by cooperating with other company departments (tender dept., marketing, service, sales administration, finance, etc.)

Catalonia and Baleares, with a possible expansion to Alicante and Murcia).


Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • Scientific Degree (pref. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering), MBA will be a plus.

  • MS Office package user/CRM Web based tools/SalesForce.com.

  • Language: Spanish, Catalan & English (good proficiency both spoken and written).

  • Strong negotiation skills and results oriented, working by sales targets.

  • Relationship driven and Team-player.

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roles in the Laboratory field. Previous experience in Flow Cytometry will be a plus.

At least 2 years of experience working in Matrix organizations in an international environment.
