Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory
by effectively selling the company’s products. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
In line with the company’s policies and values, ensures the achievement of company’s targets in terms of revenue, margin and product mix, on strategic customers at national level.
KEY TASKS
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer’s problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates Sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organization.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for exiting customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problem, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
KEY INTERFACES
 
  • Sales and promotes moderately complex company products.
  • Implement the sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals.
  • Call on prospective and current company customers.
  • Involve technical personnel to resolve customer’s issues and problems as needed.
  •  Participate in the establishment of sales targets and design if the territory’s sales plan.
  • Control Sales expenses.

Qualifications

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  •  Working by objectives
  • Relationship driven
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Scientific Degree (pref. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering) with 5+ years of experience in field commercial roles. As an alternative, 10+years direct commercial field experience required.
  • Language: Spanish mother tongue , English (good proficiency both spoken and written)
