Description

Main Responsibilities

Sales coverage for Mass Spec Systems, including lead generation and enquiry follow up, prospecting for new business, attending demonstrations, producing sales forecasts and territory planning.
Competes for all existing, and develops new, sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed plan. 

Ensures successful sales closure by using and involving internal resources and stakeholders early in the sales process and in the most efficient way. 

Special focus on significant accounts.  May manage one or more dealers.
Job Responsibilites
To maintain and develop customer relationships on short and long term.

Develop strategic key accounts by making best use of strategic selling methods and tools available and by drawing on and bringing together internal resources and stakeholders.
Gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the Company to develop strategies and products appropriate to the market.
Takes a lead role within the sales force for new product introduction.

Mentors less experienced colleagues in the sales organisation, providing guidance and coaching in selling strategies and/or competitive and commercial awareness.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

Have a proven track record of successful sales in related field, preferably Mass Spectrometry related.

May hold an academic degree (BSc) or has equivalent level of experience in Life Sciences.

Profound technical and product knowledge.

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 

This is a home based position primarily covering customers in France.  A valid drivers licence would be required as the role requires frequent travelling.
