Description

The highly motivated, successful candidate will play an integral role in the meeting corporate financial targets and supporting future growth. The candidate’s key responsibilities include funnel management and forecasting, sales performance management and continuous improvement through implementation of DBS tools.  Candidate must be extremely detailed and driven to investigate business issues, propose solutions, and feel comfortable working with and presenting information to all levels of an organization including senior management.
Core Responsibilities
Funnel Management and Forecasting
  • Perform funnel and forecast trend analysis to identify changes in market dynamics and support investments and countermeasures
  • Ensure high level of sales funnel data integrity within SFDC in collaboration with the sales organization and by using visual management dashboards to support behavior.
  • Support delivery of monthly and quarterly revenue commitment by collaborating with the Logistics team to align inventory with demand
  • Liaise with sales management and finance to coordinate quarterly, monthly and weekly forecast for Orders and Revenue. 
  • Develop and support a process for efficient, automated and accurate updates of the monthly and weekly Orders and Revenue forecast.

Performance Management

  • Supports the development, implementation and management of field efficiency tools including related training, communication and support plans that influence adoption
  • On monthly and quarterly basis perform sales results analysis to identify and sales trends and propose actions to advance the business
  • Work in conjunction with sales leadership, marketing and other internal groups to assist in business tracking analyses; Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Owns development and implementation of fit for purpose visual management dashboards in SFDC & Power BI in support of sales leaderships management of the LC-MS business.
  • Support tracking of KPIs and commercial team bowler population 
Planning and Improvement
  • Support Americas Sales leadership in application of DBS tools to help the Americas sale team meet and exceed sales objectives, i.e.: Lead or Participate in PSP/Kaizen as the analytics lead and drive objective conversation to identify root causes/countermeasures
  • Play key role in collaboration with commercial leadership, global and regional marketing teams and Global Sales Operations teams, to attain common objectives and to support data-driven business strategy.

Incentives

  • Coordinate historical analysis to support annual quota setting exercise for LC-MS sales reps, AWS/BWS, MDM’s and Sales Managers
  • Supports sales in the development of Sales SPIFF’s to drive short term sales behavior that support key strategic growth initiatives

Job Requirements



Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, economics, statistics, information science, life of physical sciences or similar.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in analytics or relevant field
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, web-based applications.  Advanced Excel and Power BI skills a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of cross functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, product management….)
  • Sales experience in the life sciences a plus
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal skills. Able to explain complex data in a simple and easily understandable way. Comfort in interacting with and presenting to senior leaders in the organization.
