This role will report to the Local Sales Operation & Customer Service Manager.
The role will be responsible for several Sales Operations functions possibly including but not limited to the following areas. To also support and facilitate Good Governance, Compliance & efficient administration of the Processes and Facilities for PALL Switzerland

Main Duties:
  • Provides general & administrative support for the Pall Switzerland Sales Entity
  • Supports Audits as required (Internal & External)
  • Supports financial and fiscal requirements
  • Serves as local coordinator of procurement for the sales entity by supporting the European Procurement organisation for Indirect purchasing (Non BOM, including all entity relevant supplies & services). 
  • Liaise with supplier in order to have compliant master data & invoices to minimize errors. Ensure correct bookings in the accounts payable process.
  • Supports the Sales Operation Manager in overseeing the compliance of the legal entity with all corporate policies, national requirements and relevant regional and local legislation. 
  • Act as local coordinator of the QMS system (Smartsolve)
  • Supports the Sales Operations Manager in identifying the need for development and implementation of local policies within the framework of regional and corporate policy
  • Supports and oversees compliance consistent with local and global record retention requirements
  • Participates in general facilities management including access security
  • Manages the generic PALL Switzerland E-Mail-Inbox. Monitor EDI & E-Commerce traffic for failures. Supports for sending of post/materials either by standard mail or courier to customers and sales team
  • Supports sales team with customer enquiries (Quality Questionnaires, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements etc.)
  • Supports sales team with customized reporting & data
  • Manages LS System projects in close cooperation with PASS project organization, sales & customer
  • Covers members of the local Customer Service Team (peaks, vacation, absences)
  • Other duties as required by Senior Management
  • To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Health & Safety Policy and coordinate with local Health & Safety provider

Job Requirements


Knowledge & Key Skills:
  • Completed Commercial and/or Technical education
  • Very good oral and communication kills
  • Strong administrative background in a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes (Purchase to Pay)
  • Knowledge of Sales processes (Enquiry to Cash)
  • Knowledge of a Commercial Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP, SAP or similar)
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Office, Web based commercial Software applications, ERP - preferably SAP SD & MM;)
  • Understanding & working knowledge with ISO 9001:2000 Quality procedures
  • Strong Organization skills
  • Teamplayer skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional & multi lingual environment with complex interdependency
  • Commercial experience involving communication with Vendors & Customers
  • Experience in an end to end Procurement & Supply Chain environment
  • German, English and French languages (Italian would be a plus)
