Description

Main role / Job Objective:          
Oversees direct & indirect sales & services, business development & day-to-day operational activities within respective geographical territory.  
Selling Esko applications & solutions to customers, resellers and new companies in order to become their preferred supplier, by creating value.

Main responsibilities and key activities: 
  • Leads & guides sales personnel in taking proactive steps to meet or exceed overall business targets (Including Revenue and Operating Profit)
  • Develops & Manages Indirect Sales Channels and develops appropriate relationships with strategic partners to drive growth
  • Formulates sales, Service & market development strategies for assigned territories or products
  • Utilizes effective sales management skills to maximize sales penetration through strategic planning & competitive strategies in alignment with corporate & regional initiatives 
  • Monitors & controls selling activities, order developments, pricing strategies, payments
  • Identifies & recommends appropriate marketing events & road shows to regional marketing to capitalize on business opportunities.  Thereafter, ensures sales leads are properly followed up by sales personnel
  • Monitors & controls branch operating expenses in line with budget
  • Ensures accuracy of sales forecasting through weekly reviews & updates of prospects with sales teams & follows up closely on actual realization.  Fortnightly sales forecasting submissions to regional office.
  • Coaches & motivates performance of all staff
  • Sales prospecting for new businesses, managing existing accounts, consisting of direct accounts, resellers and the customers of our resellers.
  • Directly manages 5-10 strategic accounts
  • Selling full Esko Artwork portfolio, with focus towards value selling to the customer. 
  • Establishing good business contacts - Generate competitive proposals - Pursue strategies for targeted  projects - Meeting & exceeding sales targets
  • Implementing the go-to-market strategy for new products and new markets
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on competitors’ pricing & position in the respective segments to enable appropriate marketing plans to be developed for driving growth.
  • Being disciplined in using the various CRM & IT application tools available in our organization to enable you to better manage your sales process and share information.
  • Observing the market and representing Esko in the Graphic arts community

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Preferably experience in people management and leadership
  • 5 years hands-on sales experience in a high-tech B2B environment /in digital printing/packaging or commercial solutions/IT.  Practical experience with direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Preferably degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Engineering, IT or related fields.
  • Knowledge about the packaging/printing industry and its actors is considered as a plus.
  •  Broad understanding of SW and IT applications
  • Finance fundamentals
  • Flexible attitude to working and willingness to travel more than 50%
