Description

The primary role of this position is to perform all sales activities in order to achieve substantial sales growth for Hach products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To develop sales action plans identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, major customers, and regional shows to be attended during the following fiscal year
  • To participate in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations and customer seminars
  • Manage, coach and develop Hach distribution’s network in Egypt
  • To prepare regular sales data such as forecasts and maintain customer activity files in Salesforce system
  • To collect and report information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed monthly or annual targets
  • Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes
  • Cooperate with Sales team to determine essential approaches for sales
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • Previous successful selling experience in the Water Industry, preferably selling water analysis solutions
  • A degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered as will an HND/HNC or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage bid opportunities
  • Experience with successfully cold calling accounts in order to secure sales and market information
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable representing products that are technical in nature, with experience gained in a technical product environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency  with  CRM systems (salesforce.com or others)
  • Perform other duties or cover other regions as assigned
  • Arabic and English languages a must, French would be a plus
