Description

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to support our growing business.

Position Objective: 

This exciting opportunity is to join our team in France as an Sales Engineer where you will specifically look after Pall’s Fluid Technology & Asset Protection markets.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who has a solid track record in sales within the Oil & Gas or Chemical industries to build a lasting career in a global environment. You will be responsible for managing and developing Key Accounts within the Paris region of France for both new projects and the aftermarket, to secure sales for fluid technology products (Consumables & equipment). As a Sales Engineer at Pall you will have an appetite to succeed and a drive for results.

Role and Duties:

  • Ensure designated area achieves growth and sales projection targets to increase our market share
  • Manage and develop relationships at all levels within the designated accounts.
  • Ensure customer requirements are communicated & understood by other departments
  • Manage smaller customers through the Telesales Team.
  • Present and increase sales of new products to all accounts.
  • Respond positively and support corporate initiatives
  • Continue to develop an understanding of Pall technologies and customer processes to add value in the sales process.
  • Negotiating prices and delivery times within limits of authorities
  • Meet departmental & individual KPI’s agreed with your line manager.
  • Interact with Inside Sales (CDG, CS, TIS)
  • Support colleagues globally in promoting & securing sales of Pall products within the FTAP sector
  • Project mange the commercial aspects of large new projects from enquiry to completion following corporate policies & processes.
  • Provide accurate forecasting for business area in a timely manner when requested.
  • Ensure cross functional teams are engaged appropriately with customers.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications/ Experience: 

  • Chemical Engineer specificity completed with a sales Business School, or 2 year technical degree (mechanical fluids techniques / physics measures / mechanical) with a business school degree
  • Experience in technical solution sales, ideally in the Oil and Gas Industry, and/or chemistry industry to end-users facility.
  • Good technical skills in Chemistry / Fluids Measurement / Oil and Gas
  • Good knowledge and experience with Key Accounts customers
  • Understand technical customer needs to convert them into technical solutions;
  • Organised, Autonomous, convincing spirit, motivated, persevering;
  • Good level of French & English (both written and spoken)
