Description

The Reverse Logistics Specialist performs a wide variety of tasks relating to the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment.
Performs a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow. Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned distribution area. Maintains compliance with ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, FDA Guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Works with occasional guidance in own area of responsibilities
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects or activities within own work group
  • High focus on inbound management with special attention to accuracy ensured through updated, and respected inbound procedures. Ensure system entries are matching physical, are timely done and discrepancies identified, solved and understood.
  • Monitor 3PL inbound activities related to reverse logistics
  • Coordinate Field service returns to the central distribution center.
  • Organize instrument returns across Europe to the central distribution center.
  • Ensure development & maintenance of KPI’s to provide visibility and measure departments and individuals performance.
  • Integrate all relevant DBS tools (DM,VM,VSM,5S,PSP etc.) in daily work
  • Acts as an Interface between the 3PL warehouse and other internal departments (Mainly Logistics, Customer Service, Sales and Service Organizations).

  • External communication with transportation and 3PL warehouse

Qualifications

Background:
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is preferred, German and French nice to have
  • Supply Chain Education - At least 2 years of experience - Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years exp. OR Master’s degree in field
  • APICS Certification
  • Strong computer skills (MS-Office, Oracle ERP)
  • Good communication skill
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks : analysis, judgments and flexibility
  • Team player and problem solver, able to work under pressure
  • Customer focus and service oriented
  • Job Location is Wijchen, the Netherlands.
  • No travel required.
