Purpose of Position

Provides service onsite during installation, start up, warranty, and post-warranty phases for Municipal equipment sold by the company as well as promote additional service offerings and manage customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides equipment start up and commissioning at customer sites

  •  Provides equipment training

  • Diagnoses equipment failures and completes repairs

  • Inspects customer equipment for opportunities for upgrades and aftermarket part sales and improved customer maintenance practices

  • Prepares and submits service reports for assignments completed in the field

  • Travels to Customer’s sites within North America

Job Requirements


Background and Skill

•         Driver’s license required

•         Strong troubleshooting skills

•         3-5 years’ demonstrable experience in a field related to electrical/mechanical systems

•         The ability to relate well to customers and colleagues at all organization levels

•         Well organized and self-motivated

•         Post-secondary education in an electrical or mechanical discipline is an asset

•         Familiarity with hydraulic systems is an asset

•         Familiarity with PLC’s and knowledge of Allen Bradley & Siemens programming is an asset
