The Regional Account Manager supporting the Chemicals markets overseas the Global Key Accounts (GKA) program in a region. He or she supports the Global Account Managers in the development and implementation of the GKA account strategies and plans. 

•         Lead the Business Development activities and implementation of the regional account plan(s) for assigned GKAs

•         Coordinate and leverage resources to present “One face to the customer” to provide complete customer satisfaction…ensure back office & support alignment.

•         Ensure process & standard work for GKA is implemented across the regional account teams - provide special training to local sales associates in the region on any GKA standard work

•         Owns the consolidated GKA funnel and associated actions for the region

•         Lead the Growth Room Initiatives in Region for GKAs…where/when applicable

•         Voice of the GKA Program in the region. Attends meetings/calls established by the regional Commercial Leaders.

•         Owns relationship with regional leads for selected GKAs

•         Provides support to GAMs in commercial proposals where regional pricing/legal support is required

•         Regional focal point for Customer Service team tied GKA Customer Satisfaction metrics.

•         Coordinates contract implementation in the region (Execution resides with Regional Sales Leaders)

•         Supports any large GKA Capital projects for the region.

•         Evaluate and understand specific needs of our GKA accounts in the region/country – building the basis for a Customer specific initiative.

•         Global lead a specific initiative tied to the GKA program

Job Requirements


10+ years of sales experience

Experience working with a global company

Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
