Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


•Provide customers with hands-on practical method development support, column screening service and troubleshooting of existing methods
•Conduct on-site customer visits to provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services
•Conduct on-site product demonstrations and/or technical seminars/webinars
•Participate in the development of applications, seminars, webinars and technical notes for marketing or other general purposes
•Present clearly and to large groups, i.e. seminars & trainings
•Ensure that assigned sales and unit goals are met and exceeded
•Attend local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows
•Develop relationships with new and existing customers
•Manage and maintain information in customer database system
•Work closely with inside sales teams and colleagues from other offices and OpCos as required i.e. Troubleshootings
•Contributes designing and delivering technical trainings to the sales teams
•Collects ‘Voice of Customers”, suggests and develops sales opportunities
•Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
•Complete assigned learning plan
•Expert working knowledge of chromatography
•Is responsible for returns Management between Italian subsidiary and PDC, interacting with technical USA and product managers as needed
•Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management

QUALIFICATIONS:


Assesses potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications.  Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.  Builds mini-applications with process simulation, often requiring rapid software modeling and/or product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer. May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements.
