Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Examines pertinent information, such as work orders, device history records, complaint trends and retain samples to assist in the determination of the root cause for customer complaints. 

• Understands regulatory requirements for submissions to regulatory bodies to ensure records are completed in a timely manner.

• Submits complaint information into an electronic document system for customer complaints. Maintains paper records for complaints following organizational standard operating procedures

• Documents initial submission of complaints from information received from Customer Care or other sources.

• Performs investigations that may assist in problem resolution of issues not mentioned in complaint that may be contributing to the event.

• Recommends improvements in product, packaging, shipping methods, service, or procedures to prevent future complaints of similar nature.

• Examines product to determine the appropriate documentation needed for submission of complaint(s) and/or capturing results of investigation.

• Assists with the investigation of overdue and/or damaged shipments or shortages in shipments.

• Back-up to other quality functions

• Performs in-process or final inspections to prevent customer complaints.

Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School degree or equivalent

• Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to communicate effectively with groups of employees within the organization. Ability to perform these functions in English.

• Computer Skills: Good Working knowledge of computer skills necessary - Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Education:  Associates degree preferred.

• Experience:  3-5 years related experience working in a regulated environment.

• Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw and interpret graphs.

• Computer Skills: Experience in an ERP system preferred.
