Working within the WITS (Workflow and IT Solutions) Q&RA organization, the Quality Complaint Analyst will manage the process of customer complaint investigations in alignment with corporate requirements and will report into the Senior Manager Quality Management Systems for WITS.
The Quality Complaint Analyst will be cooperating on complaint analysis process within whole WITS organizations, preparing of CF (customer complaints) escalations to AE (Adverse Events) subcommittee, support of CAPA process related to CF and regular analysis of CF data as a support for continual improvement. 
This position will also support the application of Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools throughout the Workflow and Information Technology Solutions (WITS) organization.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of Customer Complaint Investigations for specific portfolio of WITS products.
  • Analyzes clinical data, performs testing on filed complaints that may include customer returns.
  • Contribute to Product Quality Continuous Improvement.
  • Contacts customers as needed.
  • Generates and prepares quality data reports.
  • Ensures potential reportable events are submitted to site regulatory agency reporting.
  • Performs assignable cause investigations to identify potential failure modes and failure mechanisms.
  • Investigates and follows up on analysis of complaint trend reports.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Complaint Management within WITS organization.
  • Accountable for compliance with Risk Management requirements within CF handling process.

Job Requirements


  • Experience in Quality, with minimum 3 years of relevant experience required. 
  • Medical Technology/clinical laboratory background preferred. Experience from other industries (such as automotive) welcomed.   
  • Knowledge of Medical Devices (IVD´s) a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor´s degree in Engineering/Science field.
  • Very good language skills in German and English.
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills. 
  • Knowledge of statistics/quality control appreciated.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders.
  • Work may be independent/flexible, so an ability to manage time and productivity to meet department metrics and a high level of personal integrity is required.
