We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as Quality Assurance Engineer located in Minneapolis, MN!  Local candidates only apply. No sponsorship for this role. 
The QA Engineer will assist the development and support teams at MediaBeacon to create, verify, and deliver new builds, validate custom projects and new development, and drive improvements in the overall quality and experience of MediaBeacon software.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Developing a thorough understanding of MediaBeacon functionality to evaluate and ensure product operations during test cycles
• Manually executing test cases to validate functionality and move tickets from Resolved to Closed
• Expanding and maintaining the automated testing framework including Selenium integration tests and Junit
• Analyzing test coverage and reporting, planning for impactful future additions
• Maintaining and improving Continuous Integration and Delivery environments
• Generating testing plans for Customer projects before development begins, validate plans post-development  
• Providing written information in a clear, concise and professional manner for both reporting and documentation 

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• JAVA familiarity 
• General familiarity with technologies used at MediaBeacon (including Git, Solr, SQL, Win/Mac/Unix, JavaScript, CSS, REST, JSON, HTML5, Agile, Selenium, JUnit, TeamCity) is preferred
