We are currently seeking a Proposal Assistant to join our team.

Position Objective: 

We are urgently seeking a candidate who is fluent in both French and English to join our team in the Saint-Germain-En-Laye office. This will be working as the Proposal Assistant under the Supervision of the Proposals Manager and alongside the Asset Protection Proposal Expert for Western Europe & Northern Asia. This will include assisting the external sales team, distributors and End Users increasing sales of standard and no standard products.

Role and Duties:

  • Provide technical and commercial support to Pall FTAP WENA Sales End User Team mainly AP, to customers and to act as the intermediary with engineering, SLS, plants, Sales Administration, the end users, customers and distributors. This may include product selection, sizing and the preparation of offers.
  • To assistant with any duties given by the AP WENA Proposal Expert
  • Provide pre and post order support administratively, technically and commercially by:
  1. Completing the creation of the part number requests (PN) on ANAND and EPMS or to give all elements to administration
  2. To assist the administration or sales teams if a PN is obsolete. This includes finding an equivalence or solution if the issue cannot be resolved
  3. To assist regularly to the VDM of Customer service for solving issues
  • To use DBS (Danaher Business Systems) tools as VDM outlook (Visual daily management)
  • To ensure that the Danaher quality rules and procedures are adhered to.

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications/ Experience: 

•         Mechanical & Hydraulic degree qualification or equivalent (BAC +2 or 3)

•          2/3 years relevant industrial sales experience.

•         Computer literate, with experience in software such as Microsoft Office.

•         Excellent communication, both verbally and written in French and English.

•         Ability to understand customer requirements and develop a solution to their needs.

•         A confident persuasive telephone manner.

•         Willing to progress and develop new competencies with good attention to detail.
