The Project Manager is responsible for full Project Management (planning, execution, reporting, etc.) of projects as assigned by the Director, Project Management Organization. The Project Manager assumes ownership of projects from inception to completion.  The Project Management organization supports enterprise wide projects. Project Managers can be assigned a range of project types spanning the business cross functionally.  

  • Presents results and progress of projects to Mammotome Leadership at regular intervals.
  • Responsible for the surpassing all Toll-Gates at or ahead of anticipated dates as planned 
  • Develops detailed schedules for critical project activities.
  • Tracks and manages project execution against timeline, revising as appropriate, to meet changing project needs and requirements.
  • Manages multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Facilitates discussion of all stake holders in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Analyzes risk, issues, and opportunities, and takes proactive ownership to resolve project issues as they arise.
  • Works cross-functionally across all departments to ensure alignment and progress in each project swim lane
  • Works with the Engineering Supervisor (V&V) to finalize and complete the projects (transition after design activities).
  • Manages all external relationships needed for the project.
  • Responsible for all financial aspects of the project (estimated cost, planning, and staying within budget).
  • Manages several teams and individuals indirectly simultaneously
  • Contributes to the development of project management processes and standards with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Applies Danaher best practices and processes to manage projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership responsibility 
  • Demonstrated success at managing and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding product development and/or changes to existing materials– owns the project from its inception and manages movement through each Toll-Gate.
  • Strong Project Management expertise with focus on the cross-functional execution of project.
Desired Skills/Experience:  
  • Medical device experience
  • Engineering experience

Required Education 
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
Desired Education 
  • Experience or certification in Project Management
  • Experience with process excellence or a process excellence certification such as Green/Black Belt 
Travel Requirements
  • 20% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations
  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 2-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required; dependent on project assignment target markets
