Description

The Project Manager is the critical link between operations and our major OEM customers.  The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for aligning the cross-functional team to line of balance commitments to the customer.  A successful Project Manager will need to work at the tactical level to drive out inefficiencies in communication and planning, and lead up to establish areas for improvement in the organization.
  • Coordinate internal operations functions to meet production schedule and quality commitments, generation of manufacturing production plans, and resolution of program issues for major OEM accounts. (50%)
  • Apply leadership at the tactical level to hold cross-functional team members accountable for commitments to the business. (20%)
  • Laisse with Value Stream Leaders to make timely decisions to improve on-time delivery. (10%)
  • Utilize MRP system and daily management to communicate line of balance reports to major customers. (10%)
  • Map major product value streams to enable proper tracking and opportunities for improvement. (10%)

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience, Aerospace experience is preferred
  • Danaher Business System (DBS) experience is a plus
Position Competencies 
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A strong personality is necessary to lead a cross-functional team to deliver on the project’s objectives.  

US Citizenship or Resident Alien status required to support government programs and projects.
