Description

The Global Project Manager will lead projects related to new product development and deploys new technologies into manufacturing with deliverables as defined by the team. Leads resources assigned from cross-functional groups to deliver final product at launch.



Job Functions:

  • Technical Project Manager for New Product Development(NPD) with ability to understand and lead technical as well as logistical aspects of NPD programs
  • Leads project teams with members from the R&D, Engineering, Technology Transfer and other functions globally
  • Communicates regularly and clearly to Microelectronics business unit sponsors and provides updates to executive sponsors as needed.
  • Participates in technical brain storming sessions and contributes by understanding and prioritizing tasks for successful implementation
  • Maintains schedules, manages project budgets, and advances as needed for any issues.

  • Manage a broad portfolio of core, adjacent and groundbreaking projects across product areas and global sites.
  • Ability to contribute
  • Ability to work with senior management and cross-functional leaders, understand the expectations and disseminate information to the team appropriately
  • Comprehends Voice of the Customer and engages technical expertise to meet VoC in all new product design and development activities.
  • Plans, manages, budgets, and directs projects by closely working with cross-functional teams from around the world.
  • Develop and implement roadmaps for capital projects.
  • Knowledge of Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) concepts in the development of new products and continuous improvement/modification of existing products is a plus.
  • Communicate clearly to team members, management, customers, suppliers and other key partners.
  • Ability to work under stress and prioritize resources and direct the team to meet project timelines.
  • To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Environmental Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
  • To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.
  • Report and address any Environmental, Health and Safety incidents or near misses.
  • To align with site EHS regulations during site visits
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Qualifications



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with preferred focus on advanced polymeric materials and fluid dynamics and at least 5 years of experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Project management with cross-functional teams with global nature
  • Exposure to Stage Gate process in project management
  • Knowledge of Filter design/process development
