We are currently seeking a Project Engineer/ Project Manager to support our growing business.

Position Objective: 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to work for a large, dynamic and fast paced global organisation. As a Project Engineer/ Project Manager you will be responsible for managing Single Use Hardware projects and provide engineering support for projects in the biotech sector. This includes bespoke projects to customer user requirement specifications as well as NPI projects, product development, VAVE and manufacturing site transfers.

Role and Duties:

  • Managing Projects within the Single Use Hardware Team:
  • Manage projects containing standard and bespoke single use hardware products.
  • Manage Design, Supply Chain and Production to deliver the services to the project
  • To plan, manage and deliver projects to agreed constraints.
  • Promote and coordinate project internally within Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Documentation and Installation teams.
  • Manage customer’s technical and scheduling issues in the form of Technical Data sheets/GA and component drawings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of projects to external and internal customers, including budgetary, technical and scheduling indications at regular review meetings.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up to date, including output to other manufacturing databases is carried out correctly
  • Implement and support continuous improvement
  • Support New Product Introduction projects, being a key stakeholder within the project team
  • Manage project technical repositories
  • Responsible for managing the transfer / commercialisation of products into production, both from R&D and other Pall facilities

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications / Experience: 

  • Project Management of high value projects
  • Management of departments/personnel involved in projects
  • Strong engineering bias- process engineering, electrical, automation or control engineering
  • Experience of working in new product introduction or similar Life Science / Single Use Technology environments
  • Good knowledge of ideally Biotechnology,  Life Sciences or Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Practical, resourceful, capable of working alone or in a team
  • Prepared to travel
  • Essential to have the ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Degree/HND/HNC
