We are looking for an enthusiastic Verification Project Leader within our Workflow and IT Solutions business unit. Do you want to contribute to the success of our clinical laboratory customers by ensuring that Beckman Coulter provides the most innovative, reliable and accurate automation products available?


As a Verification Project Leader you will work in the System Verification Team and will be involved in verification activities of laboratory automation products serving clinical diagnostic laboratories. You will lead a project team of verification engineers and be responsible for planning all verification activities.


  • Reporting the status to the specific Core Team and the R&D management

  • Driving the work breakdown and assign work packages

  • Possibility to take over the lead of a functional team

  • Ensuring the on time release of deliverables required for each milestone

  • Driving the definition of the verification strategy and identification of efficient test techniques

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks

  • Ensuring success by cooperating with other functions within and outside the project team (e.g. product management, system engineering, SW/HW development, customer service, suppliers and external companies).

  • Ensuring consistent compliance with quality standards and safety guidelines

Job Requirements


  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in verification preferred
  • Experience with regulated environment (e.g. medical devices) preferred
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English (German is desired)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 9+ years’ experience or Master's degree with 7+ years’ experience
  • Ability to drive activities, facilitate discussions and improve processes
  • Attention to detail and result oriented.
