We are currently seeking a Project Engineer/ Project Manager to support our growing business.

Position Objective: 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer/ Project Manager to work for a large, dynamic and fast paced global organisation. As a Project Engineer/ Project Manager you will be responsible for managing standard chromatography column projects and provide bid packages for projects in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Product development / NPI.

Role and Duties:

  • Coordinate the Factory resources to manufacture Chromatography hardware. (Design, Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Quality)
  • Main Customer contact throughout Project lifecycle
  • Maintaining budget tracking information
  • Reporting Project Status to management
  • Continuous improvement of processes
  • Maintain Schedule and report milestone adherence
  • Lead product development projects on Chromatography hardware
  • Support New Product Introductions as required
  • Run Value Engineering Projects
  • Using standard costing process create quotations for new business
  • Assist sales team in definition of product specifications
  • Generate specification sheets from customer URS
  • Compile Project Risk Assessments

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications / Experience: 

  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, Project and MRP
  • Understanding CAD & electrical drawings
  • System P&ID drawings (Desirable)
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience handling Bids/ Proposals/Costings or Quotes
  • Degree/HND/HNC- Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Working with sales teams and customers
  • Working within an Engineering or Manufacuring environment
  • Understand Engineering Product Lifecycle (Specification, design, development & manufacture)
  • Must enjoy working in challenging environment
  • Additional language(s) an advantage but not essential
