Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate proposals, to support organizing and conducting relevant, concise, data driven, professional presentations to leadership with recommendations.
  • Experienced facilitator.  Accountable for plans, schedules and monitoring material through production to support appropriate inventory levels as required at Oligos, Chemistry, and Enzyme planning levels
  • Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Oversees master schedules for production and new product, ensuring comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.  Incorporate in forecasts and master production schedules.
  • Determines ERP driven material requirements and production execution schedules and maintains inventory at planned levels.
  • Drives cost savings quality improvement projects and innovation.
  • Executes manufacturing forecast based on global sales demand by product and work center.
  • Executes master production schedules relative to shelf life, inventory guidelines and requirements.
  • Development of balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and factory utilization targets are achieved.
  • Proven capable of providing complex analyses and using judgement to assess options.  Expectation of concise communication with senior leaders to highlight issues and solutions with supporting data
  • Manage finished goods inventory to meet agreed-upon customer service requirements.
  • Minimize inventory write-offs of finished goods inventory, intermediates and raw materials.
  • Understands shop floor management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, and quality metric methodology, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Incorporate new products or product improvements into the manufacturing forecasts and master production schedules.
  • Provide analyses and judgement while assessing options.  Expectation of concise communication to highlight issues and solutions with supporting data. 
  • Develop statistical models for predictive analytics as well as historical trending. 
  • Create graphical scorecards supporting bowlers – summarizing information of what really matters

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience ORMaster’s degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience OR  Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires a BS degree Bachelor's degree (prefer industrial engineering, chemistry, biology)
  • Minimum of 2 yr project mgmt, operational planning, or supply chain experience in biomedical device, regulatory, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience working with SAP or other inventory management systems.
  • Candidate should also have SOP's, ISO, MES, and ERP experience
  • Candidate should be confident in Microsoft Word and Excel.   SQL and Visio valued.
  • Familiar with raw materials used in biomedical device, pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Prefer SQL experience
  • Prefer MBA or graduate specialty degree
