Description

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant first line leadership experience
• Dutch and English required
• You are proficient MS Office(Excel), experience with ERP-software is a plus (preferably SAP)
• You are able to work in shifts
• You have a healthy interest in technology (mechanics, electro-mechanics)
• You are able to get results under pressure, are punctual and are a good organizer and people coach.
• Utilizes critical thinking: Builds and coaches’ organizational capability and strength to support day to day business needs.   
• You ensure high expectations for results throughout the organization; leads by personal example.

Qualifications

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the shift manufacturing operator tea:
• People management of shift production team:
•He/she has the final responsiblity of the operational manufacturing shift activities.
•He/she has ownership of department people development, review and goal setting - Follow-up on the job classification: evaluate and develop operator in collaboration with the internal trainer;
•He/she has ownership of daily shift prioritization and work balancing 
•He/she has the engagement ownership of the team supported by the use of HR tools available
•He/she is a promotor of ongoing drive for improvement of day to day team performance
• End result ownership of shift production team: 
•Optimize the workforce deployment taking work centers, operator qualifications, job rotation and production planning into account; 
•Ensure a smooth shift transition: coordinate startups, shutdowns, changeovers including the communication and paper work;
•Responsible for quality control: make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce products within specifications. Reject products outside of specifications 
•Responsible for efficiency (On Time Delivery), safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice: critical parameters, batch and behavior, visual management);
•He/she manages the shift performance continiously for key performance drivers (safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory)
•Daily management is his/her's operating mechanism for day to day performance insurance.
• He/she will work in close collaboration with other departments (product management, supply chain, quality, sales project managers, manufacturing engineering, etc.) and with frequent global interactions,   
•Support new processes/products in work centers. Coordinate with the necessary departments for feedback, communication and training.
•He/she interfaces frequently, at local level, with peer’s departments in order to escalate in case production schedule is at risk.
