Value Stream transformation – Work with LEAN

This position could be equally attractive whether you are: a) a highly experienced planner with a LEAN mindset, comfortable and dedicated to the planner role, or b) a newly graduated profession-al ready for challenges within LEAN transformation and setup of flow production seeking a job with room to grow and possibilities for future advancement for the right person.

The ABL90 Sensor Cassette Value Stream is seeking a dedicated planner for raw material and production planning. The Value Stream is challenged in the coming years, as we are facing high growth rates. We need to transform the current production setup from module based to a LEAN flow production, and the planner will be a key contributor.

The ABL90 Sensor Cassette Value Stream is producing the sensor (accessory) for the latest blood gas instrument in Radiometer’s line-up. Currently the department consists of 100 people including operators, technicians, engineers, administration etc. 

As our new Production Planner, you will be working with a number of internal stakeholders such as production coordinators, operators, Manufacturing Engineering team, Global Supply Chain team etc. Externally you will be in contact with suppliers in Denmark and abroad.

The job
To become successful, you must show results in regard to lead time reduction, productivity improvement, and delivery improvement.  Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
• Optimizing production by use of LEAN philosophy 
• Planning of production (daily/weekly/monthly) and supporting execution of plan 
• Ordering of materials to support production cycle and ramp-up 
• Contact to suppliers in regards to orders 
• Reducing inventory levels

Qualifications

We believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success:
• Bachelor or Master degree in production engineering or similar.
• LEAN mindset and great problem solving skills.
• Strong supply chain skills:
•Experience with production planning 
•Experience with supplier contact
•Experience with production optimization 
•Experience with implementing pull systems and Kanban in production
•Experience with inventory reduction
• Fluent Danish and English is required, both spoken and written.
• IT skills: MS Office, especially Excel/metrics. Experience with Axapta or other ERP systems is an advantage.

You must be passionate and committed about what you do, as well as:
• Excellent coordination skills, using both flexibility and persistency.
• Analytical and systematic in your work approach.
• Change management and people skills: excellent communication and interaction at all levels.
