Description

Daily management:



  • Cell Safety


  • Cell 5S


  • Tools management (e.g. proper calibration, torque verification, location, etc.)


  • Report all serious non-conformances in a timely manner


  • Highlight material issues on quality or availability to the respective engineers or buyers


  • Resource availability and deployment


  • Delivery to production plan


Daily scheduling for:



  • Instrument


  • FRU


  • Rework and refurbishment


  • Engineering evaluation (includes FAI).


Cell environment:



  • Monitor cell environment for abnormality (particle count, HEPA filter, ESD, relative humidity, temperature, etc.)


  • Thermo-hygrograph


  • Torque master


  • Liaise with facilities to ensure the Pre- filter is changed monthly.


  • Ensure the HEPA filter is changed by the facilities team when particle count limit exceeded.


Others:



  • Records are properly maintained


  • Availability of cell consumables


  • Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement  and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines


  • Inventory accuracy


  • Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements



Qualifications



  • Minimum



    • Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics with 2 year of relevant work experience or NITEC with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing environment


    • Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly and electrical drawings


    • Good electro-mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and strong troubleshooting skills


    • Strong team skills, good communication skills and attention to detail


    • Experienced using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)


    • Strong leading and organizational skills


  • Preferred



    • Experienced leading teams or have experience leading successful projects


    • Medical device manufacturing experience


    • Soldering knowledge


    • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement work culture


    • Experienced using Inventory Planning tools like Oracle, SAP, etc.
