Roles & Responsibilities:

The Product Specialist, Thailand is responsible for providing a broad range of pre- and post-sales support, market development, and applications support for a broad range of Sciex Mass Spectrometer. Includes Accessories, Software, Consumables and Services within Thailand. Primary responsibilities include: 1) Work with the Sales, Marketing, Applications, Service teams and Channel partners to create, define, and develop new MS sales/market/business opportunities that would improve revenue in Thailand; 2) Work with Sales, Marketing, Applications, Service, and Channel Partners to deploy MS sales/market/business strategies in Thailand; 3) Manage the MS demo and assist FAS in pre- and post-sales customer MS applications support and MS training in Thailand; 4) Assist as the key point of contact for MS product related information for Thailand.

• Identify MS business/market/sales opportunities that would improve business
• Develop new MS markets and work directly with sales, marketing and application teams to implement new sales and market plans
• Works closely with the Channel Partners to negotiate complex contracts, create sales strategies to meet the sales plan and partners with colleagues in field sales to develop and implement successful account strategies.
• Work closely with Channel Partners and the Regional Manager to achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets.
• Manage a complex set of demands and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction while exceeding Sciex sales goals
• Provide analysis of current MS product positioning and help improve overall offerings and maintain competitiveness in the markets
• Manage the MS demo and assist the FAS in applications and training support to customers, channel partners and internal field support teams
•  Support Channel Partners in the entire sales cycle from customer pre-sales visit to creating quotation for customer purchase  
• Provide key support to customer’s MS collaborations and linkage with the local, regional and global MS teams
• Manage key MS customer accounts and drive collaborative projects
• Develop close relationship with the customer and gain improved understanding of the customer’s organization, key decision makers and purchasing process
• Design and organize seminars with the marketing / technical support teams to promote our products to present potential to key accounts
• Collect competitor and local market information to further develop sales strategies for specific key accounts
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience : 

• Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in chemistry, mass spec or life science related fields is required, higher degree is preferred
• Requires 3-5 years of applications, market development and/or sales support experience
• Requires applications laboratory experience of supporting MS customer applications and delivering MS product  demonstrations and training
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, personable manner, and teach in one-on-one or small group situations
• Requires the ability to perform independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to travel to ASEAN countries
