  • Technical expert who can translate customer needs into requirements for new product development teams and translate development data into portfolio positioning for Sales and Marketing.
  •  Responsible of a Product line specific of a disease stat, within the Access Immunoassay reagent portfolio. 

Key Accountabilities: 
  • Builds and maintains technical/clinical utility expertise for products
  • Represents customer, sales, marketing and technical documentation on new product Core Teams; responsible for Business Case, Voice of the Customer, User Needs, Forecasting and Commercialization Plan development and execution
  • Gathers and assesses market and competitive intelligence, global trends, and displacing technologies
  • Creates and provides product training to global marketing teams
  • Contributes to the design, development and management of sales collateral and relevant clinical papers in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Develops and executes product life cycle management, product road map, positioning and pricing plans
  • Develops product line forecasts in collaboration with Global Marketing and Supply Chain Planning and manage inventory interruptions
  • Collaborates with Scientific Affairs and Sales in Key Opinion Leader development and management
  • Supports VIP visits and key customers as required

Job Requirements


Key Skills and Competencies:
  • §   12+ years’ experience or Doctoral degree infield with 9+ years’ experience required.

    §   9+ years in laboratory diagnostics, or related field

    §   3+ years Product Management experience in laboratory diagnostics, or related field preferred

    §   Sales experience preferred

    §   Strong commercial and aptitude for customer requirements; experience in commercialization of IVD products strongly preferred

    §   Ability to work cross culturally/functionally and understand dynamics of different markets and functional department requirements while adhering to policies and procedures

    §   Strong work ethic, ambition and drive for success

    §   Ability to multitask in strategic and tactical space

    §   Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to build trust across cultures

    §   Proficient in English languages and proven ability to work to inter-site projects

    §   Knowledge of competitive environments and laboratory workflow processes preferred

    §   Results oriented individual with focused urgency

    §   Able to work independently; self-motivated for continued learning

    §   Strong time management skills, and follow through abilities

    §   Working experience with Excel, Word, email and Microsoft Office programs

    §   Must be able to travel up to 25% globally
