Description

Beckman Coulter is currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Urinalysis to join the Urinalysis Global Marketing Team.
  • Drives upstream marketing support to perform product and life cycle management including, design, development, production, growth and maintenance while meeting annual sales and profit objectives for assigned products.
  • Perform competitive research and analysis to identify competitive strengths and weakness that will be integrated into new product development and training tools.
  • Identifies market trends and needs for products and ensure that product designs are matched to customer demand and will deliver profitable market share.
  • Develop business plans and launch activities to introduce new products into the urinalysis portfolio; ensuring the competitive advantage of Beckman Coulter solutions.
  • Demonstrate an end user focus, gaining customer insights, and establishing relationships with industry Key Opinion Leaders
  • Support the commercial team in positive customer interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners: Sales, marketing and procurement to increase revenues and profitability; Marketing to ensure successful launch and positioning; and finance and procurement to develop pricing models; Quality and regulatory to provide commercial expertise, R&D and program management to drive new product development and commercial activities are completed.
  • May present product at large customer meetings, tradeshows and/or training programs.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
  • Experience interacting with R&D, marketing, regulatory, clinical and quality teams
  • Demonstrated experiences beyond the marketing function, to include clinical, regulatory, business development or other functional experience that adds to their ability to execute role
  • Routinely have served in varied capacities beyond an individual contributor
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to see new business opportunities, set and meet aggressive objectives and develop strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including proven influencing skills
  • Ability to work successfully and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills
  • Domestic and international travel required, 20% estimated

Preferred: 
  • MBA
  • Related experience with urinalysis or hematology
  • Strong working knowledge of FDA IVD requirements and product development process guidelines in a global regulatory environment
