Description

BASIC PURPOSE- 

The development, implementation and support of defined Product Line Plans for the Beckman Coulter Lifesciences Flow Cytometry Portfolio 

FOCUS TIME PORTFOLIO
Primary 100% Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry Systems and Consumables

NATURE AND SCOPE

•Develop business cases to initiate investment or change in behavior to achieve long-term revenue and margin growth objectives.
•Maintain complete customer insights through qualitative/quantitative market research and robust customer relationships.
•Lead user needs/design specification development for new product development and ensure quality/manufacturability/service targets are met.
•Develop and communicate product insights, positioning, and value proposition throughout the organization creating alignment around the goals. 
•Serve as a subject matter expert for product lines and target markets/customers with regular analysis of trends, competitors, channels, standards, etc.
•Understands and uses DBS toolkit including growth tools (e.g. P2P, LEx), and fundamental tools (PSP, SW, 5S), to drive KPIs across all product aspects of new product development and commercialization.
•Own new product commercialization with Commercial Product Manager
•Develop pricing strategy to achieve annual product revenue and margin growth objectives
•Own operations & product delivery escalations
•Develop pricing strategy to achieve annual product revenue and margin growth objectives
•KPIs:  Revenue, Bookings, NPD milestones

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•Master’s degree in biomedical science or Equivalent/ Doctors (Phd) are welcomed 
•Minimum 4- 7 years’ relevant experience in a life sciences related marketing function
•Experience in Flow Cytometry preferred but not mandatory
•Fluent in English other languages are an asset
•Strong communicator with ability to train and create enthusiasm about a technical product.
•Embraces multicultural differences and comfortable working in a distributed team
•A self-motivated person who can quickly and independently develop and implement marketing plans. Occasional travel to Europe and the US required. Travel up to 30%.

•Monitoring market share status and growth trend metrics for focused markets
•Product sales performance evidencing efficiency of agreed support tactics.
•Sales volume and gross margin profitability for the product portfolio in alignment with plans.
