Description

Position Objective 

Core Responsibilities:
• Developing and driving marketing action plans in liaison with the Portfolio Management team to help EMEA its achieve their AOP targets.
• Achieving the strategic goals for products via Product Life Cycle Management by driving new product launches in EMEA.
• Implementing impactful sales and application tools and strategies in EMEA.
• Taking ownership of the obsolescence program and partnering with the sales team to win.

Essential Job Functions:
• Develop & drive EMEA action plans to support Product Life Cycle Management process.
- Own targeted Market growth results tracking, goals and countermeasures.
- Ensure Competitive product and company tracking and analysis.
- Run VOC to support Strategic Plan, Goal Deployment and New Product Development.
- Take part of the Product development through all Stage Gates with robust commercial deliverables.
- Consolidate Product sales forecast in EMEA.
- Manage EMEA supply disruptions and obsolescence/discontinuation plan.
• Develop, communicate, and own the Regional Technical Marketing Plans and Value Proposition for products, in cooperation with the Global Portfolio managers.
- Develop new product and application launch programs in EMEA (analyze data, provide guidance, take ownership of tactical & strategic product obsolescence).
- Develop, test and promote sales tools for Pall EMEA Sales Personnel, Distributor Sales Personnel and End User with targeted materials / applications.
• Ensure EMEA sales force has full understanding of product marketing plans and messages.
- Develop & implement product related training programs and seminars for sales force.
- Develop materials and information to support key and strategic accounts.
- Track sales force understanding / product knowledge / value proposition via sales calls, surveys, meetings and other periodic follow ups.
- Coordinate with Marcoms for EMEA language translations.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics or equivalent.  
• 5+ years’ experience in technical sales. 
• 5+ years’ experience in product management and executing new product launches.

Position Competencies:

• Dealing with ambiguity, acting with a sense of urgency; Taking ownership and accountability; and developing strong working relationships (cross-functional function: Engineering, Production, Transformative Marketing, SLS, etc.).
• Comfortable presenting/discussing marketing issues at all levels of own organization, in front of customers, channel partners, and suppliers, calibrated to become one of the ‘Go To’ experts in EMEA.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a consistent commitment to collaboration and the success of team members.
• Strong technical knowledge & understanding of English, both spoken & written.

Other Requirements:

• Open-minded, team player, positive character, capable to work in a very multi-cultural environment (great humility required here).
• 100% compliance with Pall’s Standards and Policies of Compliance.  This includes absolute integrity when dealing with customers.
• Seen as a good candidate in 2 -3 years to follow HBX MBA program, for instance.
• Additional languages beneficial but not essential.
