The primary purpose of this position is to assure the compliance of Hach products to global product regulations.  The successful applicant will serve as the point of contact for country sales approvals and blocks of company products. In addition, this position is responsible for managing Product and Market Compliance information and documentation in the Agile PLM system. 


Oversees Product Compliance information in the Agile PLM system:
  • Approves products for sale to target markets 
  • Enters and updates critical component information 
  • Authors and updates Product Compliance Certificates
  • Independently collects compliance information & monitors product certifications
Additional responsibilities:
  • Administrates Product Compliance Standards and Directives libraries
  • Reviews and approves Product Compliance engineering changes (ECO’s)
  • Support Agile PLM update testing 
Other Non-Essential Functions:
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a professional office environment
  • Proficient with MS Office 
  • The successful candidate will be: 
    • A proven self-starter and team player

    • Strong attention to detail
  • Agile PLM or Oracle experience
  • Advanced MS Word & MS Excel skills
  • Product Compliance experience (Safety, EMC, RoHS, WEEE, etc.) 
  • High energy and able to handle conflict
  • An independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever changing environment and able to make tough, difficult business decisions 
  • Able to drive and manage change, be non-political, creative and possess a strong desire to win and passion to excel and integrate the R&D team into a lean, efficient, results-oriented organization
  • Working knowledge of LEAN Principles
