Position Objective:

1.Analyze customer processes and user requirements for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography etc.) commonly used in the downstream process, also considering requirements of related upstream process.

2.Take ownership and take the technical lead and responsibility from the initial enquiry phase until final sign of the project for small to medium size projects.

3.As technical leader to discuss, propose, define final engineered technical system solution with the customer including writing technical part of quotation and associated costing.

4.After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager and/or process engineer under supervision of team leader or an assigned project sponsor. Make sure the project is delivered in accordance to specification, on time and within budget.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Project execution Activities for the entire project life cycle, including generating all project relevant design documents, handle all project communication internally as well as with customers, execute FAT/SAT, close out project according to KPI; in time, in budget, according to customer specification: 70%

2.Sales support in the scope of preorder Projects (generating technical and commercial Quotations for customer specific projects, customer presentations, technical clarification meetings) 20 %

3.General and Administration 10%

Job Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

1.B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Biotechnology Engineering

2.Strong background and experience in process automation of separation, purification and biopharmaceutical processing.

3.Minimal 3 years experiences in process engineering discipline or production in biopharmaceutical or related industry.

4.Quality control mindset and experience

5.Good communication, technical writing and presentation skills.

6.Ability to generate engineering drawings for pharmaceutical equipment would be a plus

7.Experience of working with external subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, Software programmers.

8.Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry.

9.Direct experience of working in the Biotech industry would be an advantage.

10.Proven track record of having executed projects within the DSP area of the biopharmaceutical industry.
