1. Coordinates engineering projects based on ample knowledge within area of expertise (industrial, electronic, electrical, and mechanical, chemistry).

General Skills/Competencies/Specialized Knowledge

1. Coordinates compliance to raw material and process inspection procedures to assure quality requirements.
2. Develops and analyzes process performance through comparing statistical data and acceptance criteria, seeking cost and cycle time efficiency while guaranteeing product quality and reliability.
3. Is responsible for updating the department with innovations, techniques, systems, measurement equipment and quality criteria, adapting them to the organization and supervising their implementation.
4. Takes part in the planning, development and transference of products and changes to material and processes.
5. Coordinates quality system management and applicable certifications (ISO, QS, FDA) including the development, maintenance, and updating process and records documentation.
6. Supervises the calibration system of measuring and testing equipment.
7. Represents the company before regulatory agencies, certifying agencies and professional bodies such as ASQ.
8. Directly addresses failure analysis, non-conformances and customer information requests.
9. Coordinates Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma programs.
10. Develops, implements and maintains in coordination with other areas (Purchasing, Materials and Engineering) supplier quality programs.
11. Prepares and manages department objectives and budgets, as well as validates and approves standard operation procedures (SOP).
12. Is responsible for the selection, training, development, motivation and facilitator of his/her staff.
13. Is responsible for managing the performance of department members.
14. Guarantees certification to his/her level.
15. Performs preventive audits at all production levels.
16. Identifies and analyzes quality (internal and supplier) and recommends corrective actions.
17. Prefer experience in Testing and Improvements Projects (preferably in the medical industry
18. Directly addresses failure analysis, non-conformances and customer information requests.
19. Coordinates Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma programs (Green Belt or Black Belt



Work Environment And Physical Demands

Job Requirements


 Minimum 5-year experience at engineering level.
 Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
 Certifications: ASQ, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
 Experience in manufacturing systems, new product introductions, process reengineering.
 Knowledge of Solid Works (Modeling)
 Knowledge of Minitab (statistical  software)


 Professional Industrial Production Engineering title.
 Minimum 5-year experience.
 English intermediate level.
