As a Digital Program Manager and part of the Danaher Digital team, you lead global, multi-disciplinary IoT and Data Analytics platform projects using your digital expertise. You plan requirements with internal Danaher operating companies (OPCO) and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to Danaher senior executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. 

You have day-to-day responsibility for leading adoption of IoT and Data Platform across the portfolio of Danaher Product Identification (PID) OPCOs. Goals include successful delivery of harmonized new cloud-based IoT and Data Analytics platforms, partnering with cross functional teams to operationalize OPCO apps on the platform quickly and supporting product teams to achieve their go-to market goals. You will sit at the nexus of business analysis, digital project execution, and platform rollout for adoption within PID OPCOs, working closely with associates of Danaher Digital, PID Platform and PID OPCOs.

You will join a fast-paced environment to deliver new cloud-based IoT and Data Analytics platforms in collaboration with a team of highly skilled architects, cloud engineers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, product managers and other business stakeholders.  You will be a key part of a team that tackles complex high-performance high-value feature requirements in advanced connected initiatives involving large scale IoT/ Data systems. You will be responsible for bringing a sense of urgency, open communication, collaboration for timely product build-outs. You will work with business stakeholders, collaborate with architects and product managers to understand feature requirements for IoT and Data platforms that will have to support a diverse set of OPCO applications and ensuring that the work generated by a software Scrum teams deliver impeccable features and functionality of the product, and maximize delivery of business value to customers.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Day to day program management (and/or agile scrum/sprint management) of Danaher's Product Identification IoT/Data Platform development and adoption by multiple PID OPCO teams and on-boarding of OPCO applications onto the common platform
  • Partner with Danaher's Product Identification Platform (PID), PID OPCOs and Danaher Digital senior business / technology leadership to ensure PID IoT/Data Platform common requirements (i.e.- overarching common platform requirements which will drive platform business value across multiple OPCOs), OPCO business goals and objectives for platform adoption are clear and align to PID strategic and tactical plans for digital initiatives. 
  • As the “Scrum of Scrum master”, drive in a “hands-on mode” collaborative planning, development and delivery cross functional teams in PID platform, Danaher Digital and PID OPCOs (Platform Engineering, OPCO Product Management/Engineering)., cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes. 
  • Track progress on cross functional programs plans, assess actual performance against the Danaher's Product Identification Platform's (PID) IoT/Data Platform program plan, make adjustments to meet planned objectives, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and issues. 
  • Manage business operations of the PID IoT/Data Platform project including schedule, budget, logistics, staffing and resource planning.
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop appropriate resource capacity planning, analysis and forecasting for the entire platform products and help OPCOs do the same for their applications that will be deployed on the platforms.
  • Design and manage program standards that can be widely adopted and delivered through training, best practices, work procedures, application, quality objectives, lessons learned, change management methods and metrics for assessing progress. Define the approach to Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) including tools, program KPIs, operating rhythms and review cycles. Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels.
  • As an active influencer, anticipate and mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals; actively develop countermeasures as need to keep the digital platform programs on track, schedule, quality and budget.
  • Program Manage any operational / tech support needs for PID IoT/Data platform – including being an escalation point for any PID Platform reliability issues.

Job Requirements


You have:
  • 7+ years of relevant program and project management (and/or scrum master) experience in global scale SaaS/PaaS platform products; experiences with IoT/Data related products/platforms is a differentiated plus.
  • 5+ years of experience driving cross functional teams towards successful market launch of digital platforms or products, especially in the SaaS/PaaS (cloud) domains.
  • 5+ years of experience of operational experience, setting, tracking and achieving short- and long-term program delivery goals in high-urgency and high-growth environments. 
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile processes and principles 
  • Clear written and verbal communications skills; Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative and flexible; Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must have prior record of accomplishment of working in a globally distributed team of strong experts and strong personalities in different time zones with excellent communication, negotiation and conflict management/resolution skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to details
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Availability to travel on average up to 40%. 
Preferred additional qualification:

Experience with program managing and launching platforms (SaaS / PaaS) products, from concept to launch and operationalizing in the market with customer adoption.
