Description

We are currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Wood Dale IL.This newly created position will assist in the development and execution of global pricing strategies and implement pricing tactically. This position will require that you analyze and interpret pricing diagnostics, assist with the determination of appropriate pricing strategies for various distribution channels, countries and technologies as well as develop/implement standard work along with training programs.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Develop pricing models, pricing diagnostics to identify potential opportunities, and support GSA team

• Develop pricing targets and floors by market and channel

• Analyze diagnostic outputs to identify desired behavior changes through policy and process changes

• Ongoing project leadership to different regions in assisting them with identifying pricing root cause and potential countermeasures

• Ongoing maintenance of price communication toolkit – e.g., market information, themes, detailed scripts, etc.

• Owner of Videojet’s global annual price increase execution and monitoring of results

• Price increase process

• Pricing administration / daily price maintenance

• Price monitoring and analysis 

• Competitive intelligence in regards to pricing by technology by countrys

• Provide an understanding of items such as price variability, differences between list price and realized price levels, price – volume tradeoffs, etc.

• Understand cost-to-serve, price banding, transaction waterfalls, and supply and demand hypothesis

• Market pricing analysis for various product categories, geographies, and customer segments

• Input pricing changes into ERP systems as required


Job Requirements



Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with significant quantitative analysis experience.  Ability to synthesize quantitative information and communicate observations, implications and conclusions in a business context

• Desire and ability to get into the details – drive change and inputs personally as needed or required

• Business/financial modeling.  Ability to mine data from various global systems and translate business information into models which are predictive of business results to assist in effective decision making

• Sales and marketing experience would be beneficial

• Bachelor’s Degree (prefer technical degree – engineering, finance, math, etc.)
