Description

Payroll Specialist shall process and manage the company’s payroll with accuracy and efficiency with sensitivity on confidential information. Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives. Ensure error-free and timely payout to our associates

Essential Job Functions: 

•       Handling End to End Payroll processing and responsible for entire payroll administration.

•       Salary Generation and cross-checking the salary. Reconciliation after processing salary with all the inputs

•       Reconcile general ledger about payroll transactions (Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies

•       Reconciliation of Bank Accounts. Upload of salary for RTGS payments and ensure accurate and timely execution

•       Preparation of Debit note reconciliation comparing the JV b/w two months finding the reason for discrepancy

•       Driving the Full and Final settlements of all resigned employees within the specified turnaround time.

•       Collecting IT documents and declarations (yearly). TDS filling and generating form: 16 & 16A. (Yearly). E TDS and reports (Annual Calculations, Reports and Summary).

•       Consolidate and prepare payroll input, validate taxes, earnings, variances and coordinate with finance to release salaries on a timely manner.

•       Coordinating with the finance department to ensure timely & error-free payroll as well as for the resolution of tax-related queries.

•       Reconciliation and Preparation of monthly MIS reports on a monthly, quarterly as well as annually.

•       Download Conso file from Traces site; Conso file reworking; submit revised working for PAN / any other changes

•       Maintaining the monthly work volumes and error reports to manager with the required monthly data.

•       Statutory Compliances- work with vendor for code generation, Registering employee in PF & ESIC every month, Assisting for PF & ESIC payments and challan generation, Preparing & generating PT & LWF Challans, Complying with all statutory requirements like Income Tax on remuneration, PF, ESIC, LWF, P Tax, bonus & filling Returns

•       Preparing bonus payout, LTA, leave encashment and arrears

•       Statutory Compliance Reports generation: To generate Salary registers- State-wise, payroll summary analysis, Full & Final settlements costing, etc.

•       Preparing for Client Audits and attending the Audits and resolution of the audit queries.

•       Vendor payment and management through Purchase Requisition and Purchase Services (Procurement) process.

•       Co-ordinate with Internal/external stakeholders for smooth processing of payroll and compliance

•       Administering the gratuity scheme, superannuation, and provident fund.

•       Keeping as well as maintaining all forms and returns in both online and offline mode under Factories Act, EPF Act, ESIC Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, LWF Act, Bonus Act, *The Payment of Gratuity Act, and other related Acts under Labour Laws.

•       Liasioning with several government departments / consultants for PF, ESIC, Labour office, Insurance, LIC of India.

•       Maintaining employee attendance for Valuation process & Actuarial report Liasioning

•       Updating accurate personnel files for the statutory requirement like PF, ESI, superannuation, attendance & several sources of deductions and earnings.

Minimum Qualifications:

BSc/BCom/ BBA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (e.g. Labour laws for Payroll Managers) is a plus
