The Order Entry Technician for Aligners will receive cases, download and create files, create sales orders, work orders, and process shipping documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Unpack, clean and identify incoming cases from Orthodontic offices

• Download data files, create mold files in Design software, create 3D print files

• Schedule cases in production based on due dates from the incoming mail

• Create work orders, sales order and shipping documentation

• Input order data into production data software

• Support all functions within the department

• Other duties may be assigned based on manufacturing process.

• Education/Experience: Degree from High School or equivalent; Dental Assistant school or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, SOP’s, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to communicate effectively with groups of employees within the organization. This position will require the candidate to be fluent English and be able to communicate in a written and verbal form.

• Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook preferred. Oracle or other MRP experience preferred.
