Mechanical engineer with engineering team to support the execution of projects, carrying out technical clarifications with vendors, customers & will be responsible for producing documents/drgs as required for the project. Ie CAD drawings of pressure vessels, Request for quotation documents, Material requisitions, Bill of materials, etc…

Main Duties:
  • Review pfd & p&id based on the input from process and applications engineers
  • Review of customer specifications and tender documents to comply to them in documents review and preparation.
  • Prepares mtos and boqs from p&ids.
  • Reviews/designs layout and ga drawings based on input from p&id and customer specifications
  • Carries out preliminary sizing calculation of pressure vessels and drafts detailed ga of vessels and their internals
  • Prepares bom from the ga drawings
  • Modifies and updates customer drawings to incorporate pall equipment
  • Attends technical clarification meetings with designers and applications
  • Manages document numbering and revisions as per contract specifications
  • Manages projects as a technical lead when required
  • Prepares request for quotations for pressure vessels, valves, and other required components for the proejcts.
  • Resolves vendor clarifications within time for ontime delivery of projects.
  • Coordinates with supply chain and project managers for timely delivery of projects.
  • Visits customers or vendors for technical calrification meetings as required

Job Requirements


  • Mechanical engineering 5 years min experience either in engineering company, contractor or in pressure vessel manufacturer
  • Packaged units with pressure vessels / piping / valves / instruments in oil & gas industry
  • Pfd, p&id
  • Precise and clear communication
  • Experienced in: mechanical engineer, autocad, pvelite, Pressure vessels
  • Ability to self-teach and learn instrumentation/ project management as required to support the project.
  • To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Environmental Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
  • To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.
  • Report and address any Environmental, Health and Safety incidents or near misses.
  • To comply with site EHS regulations during site visits
  • Fluent in English
