Material Handler- 2nd shift (2PM - 10:30PM)

Major Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• With minimum supervision demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a high activity environment with exceptional customer service as its primary focus.

• Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders.

• Process pick lists, create shipping documentation, consolidate and palletize orders.

• Operate a UPS/FedEx shipping system

• Unload trucks, receive product, and put away in storage. Must perform daily housekeeping duties in the warehouse including sweeping, collecting trash, and collecting damaged product. 

• Ability to multi task and be flexible to react to changing priorities.

• Maintain open lines of communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently and are working to delivering exceptional service to our customer. 

Job Requirements



• Must participate in continuous improvement projects

• Basic computer knowledge (Knowledge of MAPICS, SAP, & PC’s a plus)

• Must be able to obtain fork lift certification and operate material handling equipment

• Must have basic math skills

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Ability to use computers to perform warehouse functions

• Must be flexible; must be willing to perform a variety of job functions including the training of new associates.

• Must be self-motivated and dependable

• Must have good attendance

• Must be able to work independently

• Must be safety oriented.

• Must be quality oriented

• Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as required

• Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.

• Must have graduated from High School or have equivalent degree.
