Description

Material Handler- 2nd shift (2PM - 10:30PM)


Major Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • With minimal supervision work as a team member in a high-activity environment, with exceptional customer service as your primary focus

  • Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders

  • Process pick lists, create shipping documentation, consolidate and palletize orders

  • Operate UPS and FedEx shipping systems

  • Unload trucks, receive product, and put away in storage

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties in the warehouse including sweeping, collecting trash, and collecting damaged product

  • Maintain good communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure warehouse is operating efficiently and we are delivering outstanding service to our customers

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills (knowledge of MAPICS, SAP, & PC’s a plus)

  • Obtain fork lift certification and operate material handling equipment

  • Basic math skills

  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Timely and consistent attendance

  • Safety and Quality focus

  • Ambitious and dependable

Requirements for the role also include the ability to:

  • Use computers to perform warehouse functions

  • Multi-task and be flexible to react to changing priorities
