Located:  Pensacola, FL


warehouse consists of 3 functions or areas including: Shipping, Receiving,
& Bulk Materials Warehouse.  The Material Handler II is fully
trained in two of the three warehouse functions.  This is an industrial warehouse position in
which inventory products, resins, bulk chemicals and miscellaneous materials
are received and issued to support the needs of internal departments within the


1.      Perform
standard start up procedures on various computer systems. Prepare equipment
(forklift) for start-up, by performing both a manual and visual inspection.
Complete required information in equipment log.          

2.      Receives
all incoming goods to the manufacturing plant, by using the warehouse equipment
provided after formal training, for example, carts, drum dollies, roll carts
and forklifts. The user will be responsible for performing the task in a safe
manner to the user, other people and the items being moved.

3.      Inspect
receipts for damage and accuracy against receiving paperwork, noting any
deficiencies and reporting such, to both the internal customer and the
purchasing agent. Process these receipts against the relevant purchase orders
on the ERP system. Follow procedure for incoming receipts to locate material for
quality testing or storage location.

4.      Physically
collect all of the membrane produced by production, transact into the ERP
system by lot number into the appropriate storage location, and physically
locate into relevant storage location. All membrane made available by
production must be physically located in the warehouse by the end of the
working day.

5.      Physically
issue material and supplies requested by internal departments, by manually
pulling, climbing, pushing, lifting, or reaching utilizing the warehouse
equipment that will be capable of performing the task in a safe manner to the
user, other people and the items being moved.

6.      Once
material is physically issued - update the ERP system with the issue using the
correct transaction type, reason code and accounting. For issues to production
- ensure that issues are allocated to the correct manufacturing order in a
timely fashion to ensure stock integrity. Respond to internal customers’ inquiries
about material requests, availability of inventory assets or purchase order
receipts in the time frame agreed

7.      Determine
the accuracy of the company inventory by performing physical counts of stock by
location and lot numbers as defined by the Materials Group Leader.

8.      Maintain
the integrity of the daily, weekly, monthly and archive files using the
procedures defined and controlled by the Materials Group Leader.

9.      Create the
relevant product labels as per the product specifications. Physically receive,
then move and receive all manufactured material on ERP. Shrink wrap all manufactured
parts individually, pack in shipping cartons and produce shipping labels.

10.   Utilizing
ERP and relevant shipping software, ship all orders by the shipping route
defined by the customer order on the due date.

11.   Ensure all
exports and shipments of hazardous material leave the building with all the
necessary paperwork. All paperwork is to be completed as per the current laws
so that Pall Pensacola is at no time at risk of contravening USA or
international Customs law.

12.   Complete daily
housekeeping requirements to maintain area of responsibility to standards set
by the Materials Manager and Materials Group Leader.

1.      Utilize

basic mathematical computations (i.e. formula conversions) with or without a

effectively with all levels of personnel within Pall and external suppliers.

5.      Prioritize
job tasks to achieve daily work plan and any unforeseen issues.

6.      Perform
physical activities such as lifting (up to 70 lbs), pulling, pushing of
packages, material and drums (up to 700 lb.), manually or with assistance of
material handling equipment (i.e., dollies, ladders, forklift and push carts.)

7.      Ability to
stand, bend, climb and move across distances (up to 200 yards) with or without
reasonable accommodations for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to 8 hr.).

8.      Communicate
effectively both verbally and in writing.

9.      Demonstrate
ability of hand-eye coordination to use warehouse equipment (forklift) and
machinery (shrink wrap equipment)

10.   Ability to
pass a written and driving tests for a forklift license.

11.   Ability to
train Material Handler I's & II's

12.   Ability to
work with minimal supervision while performing a variety of tasks.
