The Material Clerk coordinates all shipments from the facility.  Maintains an adequate inventory of shipping materials.  Packs all outbound shipments to protect the product.  Contacts carriers for pickup.  Insures all forms and commercial invoices are in order.  Transacts inventory and sales order shipment data.
  • Organizes the finished goods warehouse and Cycle Counts product.  Receives product from manufacturing and transacts it into the finished goods warehouse.

  • Initiate communication with internal and external customers to establish valid requirements for those materials and services to be shipped and delivered.

  • Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and all shipment orders.

  • Maintains Inventory accuracy by precise transactions into the inventory system, maintaining lot tracking per GMP requirements. 

  • Comply with all corporate, divisional, GMP and other regulatory guidelines and procedures.

  • Utilize DBS concepts and tools in the performance of daily activities.

  • Safety - Ensure that proper safety attitudes, procedures and housekeeping are maintained on all work programs and conduct work in a manner that protects the environment, all employees, and safety of the community.

  • Performs all special assignments as required.

Job Requirements


  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:Minimum of one - two years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or stockroom environment. Data entry experience desired.
  • Skill/Aptitude:Must be able to perform accurate basic arithmetic functions and use computer programs for basic inventory management functions.Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.  Work experience using computer software programs.
  • Required Licenses: Current Driver’s License
