As a Master Scheduler you will be the single point of contact for fulfilling all instrument shipments. You will work closely with global Operations, Sales, Service, Warehouse, and Finance teams to coordinate instrument shipments from the point of instruments being forecasted until the instruments have shipped. You will own creating build plans each quarter based on sales forecasts, and will be responsible for achieving continued reduction in PSI inventory levels month to month. You will also be expected to drive continuous improvements in the existing processes and tools used in this role.

Key Deliverables:
  • Global instrument On Time Delivery (OTD) >= 98%
  • Global shippable backlog <= $850k
  • San Jose PSI inventory <= $840k 
  • San Jose PSI inventory quarterly reduction >= $207k 

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate global instrument demand fulfillment
  • Run PSI meetings with production and sales leaders
  • Create monthly PSI-related reports
  • Attend PSI-related production meetings
  • Own responding to emails sent to company’s general “Planning” mailbox

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • B.S. in Business or related field, or 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Proven experience managing complex tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Oracle
  • APICS certification desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
