Description

The
Marketing Events Specialist is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and
communication skills and the ability to manage projects with minimal
direction. 



He/she will
provide support for customer-facing events to ensure successful execution and
will assist sales teams with local event planning and organization.


Main Tasks













•       Work with
internal and external partners to oversee the planning, coordination, and
execution of EMEAI market specific events plan, for ex. participation in tradeshows,
conferences or congresses as well as self-organized seminars, workshops and
symposia




•       Coordinate
and execute all logistics including booth building and equipment, meeting
planning, housing, personnel assignment/roles/registration, equipment, vendor management,
show services, lead collection etc.




•       Support
regional sales teams with development, implementation and tracking of local
events plans




•       Manage
external vendors to oversee contract negotiations, space planning or other
event services




•       Supports
marketing team with event promotion and digital campaigns

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Education, Knowledge
& Business Expertise, Language and Computer Skills






•       University
(or equivalent) level education in marketing or a related field with strong
marketing know-how




•       Proven experience
in organising events of various sizes, ideally in the B2B sector




•       Very strong
project management skills with proven ability of planning, organizing, and
prioritizing multiple complex assignments and projects simultaneously




•       Demonstrated
ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment




•       Strong team
spirit and interpersonal skills in a cross-cultural environment




•       High
command of English and German language, other languages an advantage
