Position Purpose:

The Market Intelligence Manager is responsible for building the market intelligence and providing key information, research and analysis for Macro Economy, Market and industry trend, Competitor and existing customer movements for Greater China. She/he need identify and advise on the key marketing challenges for the business. This role is critical for setting up China strategy and contributes to our commercial initiatives with how to grow our China business above the market averages.

Primary Responsibilities:

•         Develop and contribute data collection, analysis in terms of the macro economy, regulations, regional industry and market trends at regular basis.

•         Close monitor and track competitors’ tactical & strategic movements and suggest direction of action for the company, provide update report to management team.

•         Conduct research and analysis for overall coding and marking market, focused verticals as well as sub verticals.

•         Proactively collecting the intelligence through various channels, provide in-depth analysis and suggestions to commercial team

•         Leverage the market intelligence and contribute to the company strategy setting purpose.

•         Introduce or suggest useful market intelligence tools

•         Communication of necessary information with internal and/or external customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•         B.S. in a marketing, business administration, economy or statistics, MBA preferred;

•         Minimum of 7 years’ experience of commercial roles such as marketing, business development or marketing intelligence, product management experience is a plus; preferred with hands-on experience of company strategic plan development;

•         Skills required

o   Strong economic, strategic and logic thinking to build business case;

o   Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of information;

o   High energy, works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities;

o   Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point;

o   Fluent language skills (both written and verbal) in Mandarin and English;

Be able to handle multi-task and good team work spirit in an ambitious environment.
