Position Summary: 

The primary role of the Marketing Coordinator is to execute on marketing campaigns that will drive global revenue growth via lead generation in alignment with Hach’s commercial plan. Reporting to the Manager, Demand Generation within the Marketing Communications team, this organized, efficient and resourceful individual will be responsible for executing on already planned, fully integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns with an emphasis on utilizing digital channels and strategies. 

The campaigns include omni-channel touchpoints along every stage of the customer’s journey and utilize best in class automated marketing and other digital tools. Focusing on exceptional execution, this role will be responsible for making the marketing communication lead generation plans come to life. They will be responsible for all facets of tactic development, including briefing, reviewing and working with partners to ensure the correct message goes out to the right customers at the right time. 

This position will play a key role in supporting our marketing organization's desire to: 
  • Spark customer exploration of new or improved water quality analysis solutions
  • Support customers through every stage of their buying journey
  • Give voice to Hach's products and services through omni-channel delivery of consistent messaging 
  • Utilize optimized marketing approaches (e.g. digital, marketing automation, data analytics) to drive accelerated growth 
Essential Functions: 
  • Execute on tactical plans that drive revenue in assigned global vertical market(s) primarily through lead generation channels
  • Be an advocate for our customers, ensuring that every customer touch point brings value to our customers, engages them, and provides them with a good experience
  • Manage execution of campaign strategies through ruthless attention to detail and strong sense of ownership, providing direction on "voice of the customer," messaging, and ensuring a high-level of content quality for all tactics
  • Engage in continual results tracking all the way through the marketing and sales funnel – from early engagement indicators (e.g. Clicks) and top-of-the-sales-funnel indicators (e.g. lead creation, conversion rate) to sale.
    • Based on careful review of results, alter strategies and tactics for optimal return on effort and investment 
  • Prepare and maintain omni-channel touchpoints all along the customer's journey, from sparking initial interest and providing high-quality solution education content all the way through post-purchase support 
    • This includes utilizing state-of-the-art marketing optimization, engaging with SEO/PPC teams and marketing automation (e.g. trigger-based emails, web personalization, account-based marketing) 
  • Carefully manage budget and expenditures, providing monthly reports to finance and adjusting spend in alignment with organizational financial needs
  • Partner with stakeholders – Product Managers, Sales, Customer and Technical Support – to ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire customer journey and ability to leverage approved brand and product messages and deploy with channel-specific optimized formatting into omni-channel global tactics 
  • Provide visibility to your marketing plans, executions and results to the entire organization, maintaining complete transparency for continual stakeholder alignment 

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, and/or advertising, or an equivalent combination of education/experience, preferred
  • Marketing experience in a B2B environment, or advertising agency account service experience with B2B clients, preferred. Digital marketing experience strongly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through both leads generation and ecommerce channels.
  • Proven experience executing fully integrated, multi-channel global campaigns, able to speak to results of those campaigns
  • Must be able to think critically on messaging and direct a creative team in the execution of that messaging. Must be able to proof and edit copy, as well as effectively review designs and layouts
  • Budget management experience, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, accruing expenses, processing invoices and negotiating vendor contracts
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office
