Description

We have an opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager to join the Hach team. In this role, you will develop, coordinate and execute marketing tactics to drive the growth of the business in APAC. You will ensure that customer-facing marketing communication is consistent with corporate strategies, product messaging and corporate brand standards. You will be able to utilize expertise and resources from the local Sales and Business Development team, and the regional and global Marketing teams.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Developing and executing annual marketing plans and budgets;
Developing and executing local product launches both online and offline;
Conducting market research and keeping track of the competitive landscape in India, and planning tactical marketing countermeasures;
Initiating targeted promotional activities to drive sales;
Coordinating Water Quality Platform India presence at tradeshows, exhibitions and seminars;
Developing advertising plans for various channels;
Analysing sales data to identify trends, issues and opportunities;
Driving the Opportunity Management agenda in India; and
Monitoring and maintaining Hachs online presence.
Content development as per local needs for Emails, PPC, Website etc.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

 Skills & experience we are seeking include:
Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, PR or advertising.
Experience launching products.
Familiarity with current online marketing methods, and B2B marketing techniques.
High degree of computer literacy MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and modern web-based tools.
Strong data analysis skills.
Strong writing skills to proof and edit copy.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work within budget, negotiate contracts, and develop strong vendor relationships.
Ability to undertake occasional domestic & international travel (up to 30% of time).
Ability to occasionally work flexible hours.
Experience with industrial products would be an advantage.
